Hi guys
I am using VDJ 7.4 Broadcaster on an IMac with OS version 10.9.2
I am broadcasting music to second life.
My problem is that i can not seperate the sound from VDJ with other computer output sounds. I want to broadcast with high volume but hear with low volume from my computer.
Or perhaps hear the VDJ output from headphones and hear rest of the computer output sounds from the builtin speakers.
I played around with sound config but couldnt get a solution.
Please help

Hi,
the Broadcaster just can used with ONE sound card.
Because the Mac does have only a single sound output you will need to split the the output signal into two mono lines.
So you need to use the Laptop - Split signal with a Y-cable option inside the Broadcaster sound config.
Also you would need to have a Y-cable and connect this one with the headphone output on Mac side.
On the one end of the Y-cable you will to have to connect the headphones and on the other one the speakers.
In case you want to use stereo output you will need to buy a DJ sound card like the DJIO and upgrade to Pro Basic.
