Topic: Virtual DJ LE sound card issue

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Hi all, i am new here.
I bought recently the pioneer ddj-wego and I'm using the Virtual DJ LE with it.
when i last upgraded my virtual dj le to version 7.4, the sound card settings from the config have disappeared.i only see advanced settings which say that i should upgrade to Pro.
how did that happen. i can only now connect my headphones to the ddj-wego and listen.

Can anyone help please? i need to get the sound card settings back in order to connect my ddi controller to external speakers.

Thanks

VirtualDJ LE is limited software and doesn't have any config options. If you saw these before, then you had probably activated the 20 day trial of the full VirtualDJ Pro. The trial is cancelled if you re-install the software (Which you would have done if you upgraded it to a newer version.) You can continue the trial for 10 minutes at a time if you wish using VirtualDJ Home FREE: http://www.virtualdj.com/products/homefree.html

The DDJ-WeGo has its own built-in sound card and VirtualDJ LE is designed and pre-configured to work using it. You will need to plug a pair of powered stereo speakers into the master output on the back of the WeGo and your headphones into the headphone socket on the front.

If you wish to output the sound through your computer's speakers, you will need to use a link cable from the master output of the WeGo to your computer's line input. Please see http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/VirtualDJ%20LE%20sound%20through%20computer%20speakers.html
