Hi friends,

i have a problem. i use long time virtual dj pro and now i try configure typhoon but virtual dj not recognized.-

in the mappers appears only simple midi mapping and does not appear typhoon as it does with other drivers as the Denon 6000 so .-

i rescand and nothing!

i have version 7.0.5

pd: in version le work perfect.! but i need more options! y prefer long time version pro.!

do you have a mapper or a solution.?

Do you have the latest VirtualDJ v7.0.5b installed?

Check the MIDI device name in MacOS's Audio/MIDI utility.

It should be named exactly as follows:

TYPHOON DJ-Controller

If not, please rename it.

yeas i have a latest version.

in midi device audio midi utility i see name TYPHOON only

how rename??

First, make sure that you are viewing MIDI devices, not audio. Click on the Window menu and choose Show MIDI Window.

Click on the appropriate MIDI device in the list. Then click on Show Info.

Click on the Device Name: box and type in the correct name: TYPHOON DJ-Controller

Click APPLY.

Hi friend the typhoon dont show in MIDI device list, i change usb etc etc. but nothing.! no idea how add.i rescan midi and no see.etc i add device but no see to.! im crazy.!

and one think i dont understand, when connected via version LE machinne work, but in version pro dont.!

now i rechange usb cables and i see in device. and test sound and work.! but now i go to virtual dj pro and dont work.? no see in list device

i delete all

and reinstall everything.! now runn very good.!

I just bought the typhoon and I'm having the same issue. Mine just shows "keyboard" and nothing else in the mapper drop down list. When you said you deleted all, did you uninstall the program and re-install it? Then it worked?

I plug in the typhoon and it's recognized in the input/output section but nothing in the mapper section and I get no response from the unit it self.

Never mind. I tried installing a typhoon mapper but once I deleted it, it started working.

If you had installed a custom mapper then it was most likely conflicting with the built-in native support.

No mapper is required to use the Vestax Typhoon - It's natively supported in VirtualDJ v7.0.5b

hi im having the same problem. ive done everything and still nothing works. im using windows 7 os. when i look in the drivers list i see typhoon dj controller but two of them, one hid compliant driver, usb input amd composite device. the vestax always had comflict issues but this time it simply cannot detect. none of the knobs and buttons work but e sound card still functions. i recently added a wireless keyboard and mouse and thats when the problem started. HELP!
