Hi all. I was wondering if there is a way to export the BPM data that Virtual DJ Pro Calculates and have that information put into the meta data for my files (They're AAC format in iTunes)? As a complete novice to DJ'ing and mixing, I find myself thinking that making play lists in iTunes would be comfortable for me, then I can use the folders to load the items from the playlist directly into VDJ7. And for that matter, it would be great to be able to see the BPM of my tracks when I'm using iTunes for general listening. Any hints and tips on this would be great fully received. |

As far as i know, this is not possible, because VDJ will write this informations only into it's own database and not into the file. |

hmmm, I wonder if there is a way to extract the information from the VDJ database and have it written into the iTunes track info. might even be something that I end up writing myself in Xcode, or maybe in windows using my PC versions. |

This tool will allow you to export the BPM from the VDJ database to id3 tags which will then get picked up when you load a song in to itunes. Works a treat for MP3 but not sure if it will do the same for AAC though? http://www.virtualdj.com/addons/9263/VirtualDj_db_Manager.html Keith |

That sounds like a great tool. However it's not suitable for me, as I'm using a Mac, and also AAC Format files, which I suspect won't be updated by that app. Thanks for the reply. |
