Hey All,
Appreciate any input on this.. just got the Hercules 4-MX controller and i'm trying to get the headphones on the board to cue/listen to music but play music off my PC speakers. I tried enabling the dual soundcard but that didnt work. It seems like I can only have one or the other. Please help!!
Thanks! ******@*******

First, please ensure that you have the latest DJ Console drivers and firmware installed.

A link to download this can be found on the following page:

http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/Common_Device_Drivers.html

Next, please also ensure that you have the most recent version of VirtualDJ Console Edition installed. Register your serial number on the page http://www.virtualdj.com/users/edit.html and then download the installation file from:

http://www.virtualdj.com/download/updates.html

Then check that your sound settings in CONFIG -> Sound Setup are set to the following:

Inputs: None
Ouputs: Headphones
Sound card: DJ Console 4-Mx

Click APPLY.

Make sure that you have plugged a pair of powered stereo speakers into the master outputs on the back of the console and your headphones into the headphone socket of the console.

Alternatively, connect a suitable cable (2x RCA to 3.5" headphone jack) from the master output of the console to the line input of your computer. The sound will then come out through the computer's speakers (If not, go to your sound card's mixer/control panel and ensure that the line input is not muted and the volume is set to an appropriate level.)

NOTE: VirtualDJ LE/Console Edition is free limited software and does not support outputting sound directly through your computer's own built-in sound card with headphone pre-listening. It is designed to work with the sound card in the console only. For more flexible sound configuration options and much, much more, you will need to upgrade to the full VirtualDJ Pro at a discount: http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html

I downloaded the DJ Pro Infinity but haven't received an email to download the new software. Where do I look?

The newest public version of the software is the one you can download in the download section on this page
It's the same for all licenses - the feature set in the software gets decided depending on the credentials you use to log into it
So if you use the same credentials as on this page, you should be logged in as licensed for a specific controller
You can check it on the license pane in the settings in the software
