YES!!!! What asthedj said... or pictured... :D
I am a mobile DJ, and play lots of Top 40 and Top 40 remixes. I love that VDJ Pro has ten cue points, and I use cue points this way...
# 1 - Intro drums
# 2 - Intro drums and bassline
# 3 - quiet section
these first three I use because my Numark Mixdeck has three hot cue buttons, and I can use these three cue buttons on the controller to loop in / out of a song
# 4 - first verse
# 5 - second verse
# 6 - chorus
# 7 - bridges
# 8 and 9 - hook, special vocals, or some other interesting point in the song
# 10 - Outro of song
Obviously, not every song has or needs all ten cue points.
I use the comment feature to note if I can loop 8, 16, or 32 measures, etc
Colors, in conjunction with the numbers and comments, would be great though. Sometimes, it can be hard to tell what a song is doing, based solely on the waveform. For whatever reason, hovering over / mouse over my cue points doesn't always show the comment. Often, once I hover over / mouse over one comment, the remaining comments will not show until I click somewhere else on the deck and then return to hover over the next cue point.
A color coded cue point could help, as I wouldn't have to hover over and read the cue point comment. I could tell what it is just based on the color of the cue point in the mini track waveform.
