I have taken a specific critical post from that discussion and made a wiki page with the steps to resolve this issue.
This issue is not limited to the original thread - so please don't be discouraged to try this if your MIDI device is not being detected.

hello im having trouble with virtual dj pro 7 and my numark mixdeck i can't seem to get my crossfader to work it onli plays on my left side of my mixdeck and thats for both songs can some1 help me out with this problem or direct me to some1 who can

This thread has nothing to do with the MixDeck and crossfaders. How about do a bit more searching or open your own thread with your issue. And please - be a bit more descriptive and a little better in your sentences - because I really have no idea that your crossfader is and isn't doing.
