Hello,

I have an iDJ3 with VDJ7 Pro, and i broadcast every wednesday. For these past two weeks i have not talked on the mic during a broadcast, but i really want to. I've tried everything, because the built in mic input on the iDJ3 only comes out of the master, it cannot be used with VDJ. I've tried making an aggregate device in Audio MIDI setup, with my built in input and the iDJ3 soundcard, but it doesn't give the option to use the IDJ3 in the aggregate. I've tried advanced config setting up master and headphones with the outputs on the controller, and using mic 1 or line in 1 with the mac's built in input, but it gives me a core audio error.

can anybody help?

It is difficult if you did't have this controller, but we will have a look!

If no of the following settings work, you have to wait for the next version.

First you have set the Mic Input of your Mac to Line In.

Then splitt the Master Output with two Y-Cabel, so you get at the end 2 white cinch and 2 red cinch.
The first pair (red/white) connect with your PA and the second with your Mac Line In.

Now you have to set up the Advaced Config.

Master -> iDJ3 Soundcard (ASIO) > Output (1&2)
Headphone -> iDJ3 Soundcard (ASIO) > Output (3&4)
Recod Loopback -> Build In Mac Soundcard -> Input (1&2)

If Input (1&2) didn't work, try to use Line In X.

Hope it works.

Hello,

I have an Idj3 console that I am trying to connect to a mic into the idj3 input but I still can not make it work, I tried all the options in the audio set up in the configuration tab from virtual dj LE. I have the console hook up usb to my pc and my pc it is connected to the surround system. Can anybody guide me with the set up to make this mic work, I would really appreciated, Thank you in advance.

Hi,

there should be no secret to use the Mic.
Because it is only needed to plug into the related stack and adjust the volume on the front side.

Then you should hear the voice at once on your at IDJ3 connected speakers!
