The MC-6000 looks excellent. After getting burned with AA I bet this will be infinitely better quality.

The VMS4 obviously has the addiitonal USB audio channels... So not very future proof in that respect!

Just as i said,

Once one company releases the technology they all through there products out there, just takes one to break the ice.

Glad I check these forums every day, cheers

2 mics and echo on each plus 3 band eq, rackmount too. Only thing is, this AC power, guess i answered my own question that i asked a few weeks ago about whether or not all these hybrid's would be Ac'd or not. bummer!

Krad, what's up with the AA device?

I returned the VMS4, grinding jogwheel, temperamental play button and dreadful mic quality with serious distortion. It's all down to pricing and expectation and the AA unit is way below my line of quality. For the price the VMS4 is probably ok but the mic distortion is unacceptable. The LEDs are too dull and with USB only are very poor indeed. This Denon should be better.

Yes, it's all down to our individual standards and what we deem expectable.

Sooner that jeopardise quality I would rather put up with using an external mixer with a midi controller.

I'm not impressed with AA at all and put them in the same category as all the other aftermarket firms, e.g. Soundlab, Kam etc

I am interested to learn how thing have changed over the last 15 years in American as far a manufacturing and quality goes? What companies do you have that make great gear?

I know you have Sabine but what others?

My mobile rig is Peavey and it's bombproof. I use a Pioneer DJM500 and Denon HC-4500 at the club at the mo and the quality is amazing. An all in one would be a natural evolution but it needs to be wall above what AA can offer.

I read somewhere these controllers will be spread with VirtualDJ LE (into USA) and with Traktor LE (into Europe and Asia).

Why this difference?

I wrote an eMail to the EU Support of Denon (techsupport@d-mpro-eu.com). I think the more request they get as more chances we have to get the product in EU also with VDJ ;-))

Some nice pics on djkit.co.uk http://www.djkit.com/product.php?id=6790&cat=90 if you hover over the top view, you will see the VDJ logo is already placed (with others) on it (right-hand side).

I'm not giving up on the VMS4 just yet though ;-)

For that price you would think it would support the Denon CD drives.
