Sorry if this seems like a stupid question, but I don't know anything about midi or scripts or programming.

I would like to buy a Hercules RMX or Steel or American Dj DP2 but I need more buttons. Is it possible to have the RMX or Steel or DP2 mapped for some functions on VDJ and have the Korg Nano also plugged in and operating other functions?

I would like to have the korg control my 1/2, 1, 2, 4, 8 & 16 beat loops for Deck A on buttons 1 thru 6 and have buttons 7 thru 12 control the loops on deck B and then have the other control the other functions normally but don't have a clue as to if it can be done and if so how to do it.

You can add as much MIDI devices as you want. You can use KORG midi devices and Hercules and Denon and Pioneer all working at the same time, no problem for VirtualDJ.

Cool, now to select which one and then figure out how to go about doing this mapping thing. I'm sure once I purchase this on Monday I will have lots of questions for everyone familiar with it....mainly once you have a controller hooked up and mapped can you still use the mouse for all functions if desired?

Is there any kind of tutorial for VDJ mapping or does it vary from contoller to controller?
