Hello,

A new version is now available, version 6.0.3.
(see the changelog)

As usual this update is available for FREE for all VirtualDJ Pro users.
Go to your Download Center to download it.


This version is mainly a bug fix, and corrects many small issues that were left from the previous release.
So even if you don't have any problems with your current version, we recommend downloading and installing this new version anyway.

Funny, I went to retrive my serial number from my original VDJ order and noticed I bought VDJ exactly (5) years ago TODAY!

What can you say about a company that is still giving free updates FIVE YEARS later.....Nobody does this.

I was reading the new features and fixed bugs and I ran into:
- optimized memory managment
- search in greek and russian can use transliteration
- fixed dump can stay stucked

What did you change in memory managment?
What does the last two mean?

Has the incompatibilty with Windows 7 'Animate windows on minimise' been fixed?
and im looking for a fix on the fastforward on preview window scrambles main output issue??

Thanks for the new update everything seems to work very good, except timecode engine v4. it was perfect on 5.2 but now with the new version is pretty bad.

After testing for a couple of hours this is what i came up with:

1. The playback is horrible as compared to timecode engine v5 is like having the keylock activated on a very low spec computer.

2. During spinbacks the sound cuts off.... like it looses signal.

3. During beatjuggling it jumps all over the place.

I'm getting 100% signal when configuring but the playback on engine v4 is not what it use to be. I'm using cdj's as timecodes. I also have 5.2 on my computer and it works perfect with engine v4.

I am confused? There was a new TC engine in version 6. 6.02 seemed to FIX the issues with my timcdoe drifting? now in 6.03 I see TC V4? is that the old time code??

It VDJ 5, you had the possibility to choose between v5 timecode engine, and v4 engine..
In VDJ6, the v4 engine was taken out.. but now brought back.

Im usng the New Update with My Macbook pro & the VCI 300. I still cant get the Headphones to work properly.

Works fine on PC, maybe its something with the mac sound driver.
Cyder can tell when he reads this , he has mac and vci-300

Sadly No. Your fix is the only way so far.

Biggest dissapointment is that there are still many videos that play fine in 5.0.2 that STILL don't play in 6.0.3 (just as they didn't in 6.0.2)

Still got to stick to 5.0.2 for this reason. Gutted

I can only seperate the PFLa & PFLb when i turn the Monitor select counter clock wise to master. If i turn it to cue, whether if i click on PFLa or PFLb.. I still hear the same right deck playing. No individual monitoring.

Ok, i got issues #2 and #3 sort it out.......if you are using TC v4 you have to turn the silence knob all the way down.

Still having the sound issue tho.......

if you have silence all the way down, did you apply gain to the inputs?

Yes, i have a perfect circle and waves......I can notice the issue more when i go minus on my CDJ pitch slider. Again it sounds like having the keylock activated on a under spec computer (Of course i don't have it activated). If i switch to TCv5 it sounds perfect. Weird.....
