I have had a mess trying to get the whole thing working, I have a dell laptop/newvdj/rmx. My volume is low and its full of buzz in the headphone and output(rca) 1/2. Would love to use my rmx for headphones and one output to a amp. 2 problems. |

There are 2 places to control this. RMX console and in vdj. |

In VDJ config/Performances untick safe mode, set to fastest, and latency. See if that helps. |

i am using version 6, is that the same? i am new to vdj and used to use other software. I would love for this to just work. |
|
what is latency? i know i sound dumb. |
|
Yes, it is the same. As for latency, readthis. See if that helps... |

Should i use the rca outs? ot 1/4 inch. I could use either but like 1/4. I am using all denon gear but got the rmx as back up/mixer. I plan in the future to get the denon hc-4500 midi contoller. I am using the hd-4500 as a dedicatied hard drive unit no computer. My dell is new and rmx is new and so is the software. Rca/1/4? |

I have a Gateway laptop and the power supply that came with it creates an xtremely loud hum/buzz... I tried a ground-loop isolator but that had no effect. Bought a 3rd party £25 power supply and that cleared it up instantly. Cheers, Roy |
