Hello, just wondering since Microsoft Windows 7 will be the next operating system platform coming in October 2009 on new PCs will VDJ be updated to operate within this new operating system? Just was curious, since I am planning on purchasing a new system later on in January 2010.

Thanks, Jeff

I am sure VDJ will update to support Windows 7 when its released. Hercules already supports Windows 7 with there latest release of drivers.

I have had no issues with Windows 7 with audio but with the Vids its real buggy and sometines crashes. But this is only on a test Box I still use XP @ gigs so try it out if you can still get 7 or just wait till VDJ release's support for it?

agree, using it on my desk top and works fine, had been thinking of installing it on lappy but it's so close to vista and i haven't had any problems with that os i'm not going to bother.

Yeah for me either!! from the looks of the way its acting I think the video card may need new drivers because it real choppy. Windows 7 finds them when you install the OS but I think the Video drives Need a true upgrade? and this Lappy I tried on had Vista?

Stick with XP for now...

From i friend in the computer business, if you use HC4500 you must install ASIO 101, version 200 is not working with W7 64 bit.

i have a quad core high end AV editing pc and CUE and VDJ work fine on it with Windows 7. I honestly will switch all my systems i can over to Windows 7 when they release it. its fast, easier to use than any other windows os i have used. best of all its STABLE!

I agree with Synistar....Very stable. I am also beta testing with my AV editing workstation.

Solid as a rock, and once M-audio catches it's drivers up, I think...perfection.

PS, I am a Unix/Linux guy at heart (admin), and I think Windows 7 is the best edition since the had 2000. Super stable, and leaner than it's predicesor. ie Win ME = blows... 2000 = 2000 times better.... Vista = blows..... 7 = 2000 times better :)

The M-Audio drivers for Vista work with Windows 7. Windows 7 is so intelligent that it makes the necessary adjustments to make most vista drivers work. It has a built in Vista and XP mode. If u have 64bit or 32 vista drivers install them and it'll work.

Hey Guys,

I have installed Windows 7 and now I can't get VDJ (6.0.2) working. I hear the timecode from my Numark TTx's, but in VDJ the virtual tables in VDJ are not spinning.

I have tried configuring the app with Time Code config in thesetup menu, but so far nothing has been done.

Is there a specific sound driver that i need to install in addition to Windows 7?

Is anybody using V5.2 with Win 7? I had problems with 6.2 and went back to 5.2. Now I want to upgrade to Win 7 but continue to use 5.2.

What do you think?

Thanks in advance.
