You guys need to make BPM reading more accurate (depending on genre) or at least make it easier to /2 or x2 them manually in mass Please see this post for more info: http://www.virtualdj.com/forums/102763/PC_Version_Technical_Support/BPM_s___.html |

Modify the option detect bpm<80 in the virtualdj config. |
|
I suggested this a while back - the bpm detect < 80 option isn't much use for some genres - for example drum and bass. Songs at 174bpm for example are detected as 87 - which is obviously above 80 :) |

All things considered though VDJs beat engine is pretty accurate for most music. I've tested it against Mix Meister, BPM studio and my mixers bpm detection and VDJs is as accurate as any of those. |

Don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking it, it is a very good BPM engine. It does consistently pick out DnB at half BPM though ;) |

"You guys need to make BPM reading more accurate (depending on genre) or at least make it easier to /2 or x2 them manually in mass" pleasae there was something similar in VDJ 4-5 where you could recalculate the tempo if you changed the genre.. what i would like to see is a plugin or a code that i can select all tracks that are miscalculated and add /2 or x2 in mass. this would be the most helpful everything else works find depending on your hardware and setup.. this is highly needed i think we should get a list of dj's that wan't this.. |

I agree being able to bulk x2 or /2 bpms and other id3 tags in multiple would be a great help. Traktor has had this feature for as long as I can remember. |
